About Me
I am a dedicated higher education professional passionate about student services, equity-deserving groups, and leadership development. With experience in student affairs, program advising, and academic research, I strive to create inclusive learning environments where all students can thrive.
Currently, I serve as the Senior Program Advisor at Yorkville University (NB), providing academic guidance, tracking student inquiries, and supporting student success. Previously, I worked as a Recruitment Coordinator at Sheridan College, developing outreach strategies, and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Toronto Metropolitan University, and now again at the University of New Brunswick.
I hold a Master of Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE), specializing in Student Services and Student Development in Higher Education, with research published in The OACUHO Pulse. I also earned a Master of Arts in Philosophy from Toronto Metropolitan University, where I explored Epistemology and the Philosophy of Religion, publishing in Charity in Truth. My Honours Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from St. Thomas University included a thesis on epistemically transformative experiences and their impact on decision making processes in HE.
An active member of the higher education community, I contribute to professional associations such as AACUSS, and CACUSS. I also serve as Associate Director, Programming & Development for the United Women Empowerment Alliance (UWEA), advocating for better gender equity in Canada.
In Fall 2025, I began my PhD in Education Studies at the University of New Brunswick, supervised by Dr. Andrea Garner (Committee Members: Dr. Roger Saul & Dr. Melissa Keehn). My research focuses on how time inequity impacts the academic and social experiences of low socioeconomic status (LSES) students in New Brunswick’s higher education institutions.
Beyond academia, I enjoy video games, reading, running, spin biking, cooking, and walks with my husband.
