About Me

I am a dedicated higher education professional passionate about student services, equity-deserving groups, and leadership development. With experience in student affairs, program advising, and academic research, I strive to create inclusive learning environments where all students can thrive.

Currently, I serve as a Program Advisor at Yorkville University, providing academic guidance, tracking student inquiries, and analyzing reports to support student success. Previously, I worked as a Recruitment Coordinator at Sheridan College, developing outreach strategies, and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Toronto Metropolitan University, supporting undergraduate learning.

I hold a Master of Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE), specializing in Student Services and Student Development in Higher Education, with research published in The OACUHO Pulse. I also earned a Master of Arts in Philosophy from Toronto Metropolitan University, where I explored Epistemology and the Philosophy of Religion, publishing in Charity in Truth. My Honours Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from St. Thomas University included a thesis on epistemically transformative experiences and their impact on post-secondary transitions.

An active member of the higher education community, I contribute to professional associations such as AACUSS, CACUSS, and OACUHO. I also serve as Associate Director, Programming & Development for the United Women Empowerment Alliance (UWEA), advocating for gender equity.

In Fall 2025, I will begin my PhD in Education Studies at the University of New Brunswick, supervised by Dr. Andrea Garner. My research focuses on the academic and social experiences of low socioeconomic status (LSES) students in New Brunswick’s higher education institutions, examining how intersecting identities shape their educational journeys.

Beyond academia, I enjoy video games, reading, spin biking, cooking, and walks with my husband.
